Reuse
Matilda loves the colour green and wants to help save our planet from the effects of climate change.
So in order to do her part in the war against global warming, she has started refilling her ink cartridges and will wear her lucky green sweater everyday!
Reduce
Matilda has began to replace all of her bulbs with energy saver bulbs, as well as reduce the carbon emissions by not driving a car.
Well... she is made out of paper and can't drive anyway.
Recycle
Since the big move to Halifax, N.S., Matilda is now officially taking part in the recycling program that is in place.
She, herself is made of paper and knows first hand of it's value. Along with paper, she also recycles her cans, plastic and has a bag for compost.
